About the designer

Fascinated by the essence of objects and all the dimensions of their influence on individuals, Franck Genser founded his design workshop in Paris in 2015. There, he assembled a multidisciplinary team of engineers and artisans. To create his furniture pieces, he draws inspiration from his imagination and explores the realms of perception. His creations combine functionality, art, and emotion.

With an engineering background and a passion for entrepreneurship, Franck Genser also expresses himself in more diverse fields such as Gestalt therapy, an approach focused on the constant interaction between human beings and their environment. At the core of his reflections lie the relationships between humans and their surroundings. Form becomes the primary function, emerging from inspiration without necessarily being tied to a specific use.

Driven by a sensitive aesthetic, Franck Genser doesn’t hesitate to blend various exceptional skills to craft a piece. He works with noble materials, which will age gracefully over time, such as walnut, parchment, marble, and Japanese lacquer. This unique approach results in objects brimming with emotions. They fit into a heritage perspective, serving as a contemporary and future testament of our era.
